This Privacy Policy explains what information Athistry collects how we use it and how we protect it.
Information you provide: name, email address, school, sport, position, class year, stats, achievements and profile details, optional information such as GPA, social media handles and audience information, photos, videos and other uploaded content, messages or communications you send us. Information collected automatically: device and browser information, IP address, log data, platform usage data, profile views, link interactions and inquiry activity, authentication and security data.
We use information to create and display athlete profiles, operate direct-link profile sharing, send account inquiry and security notifications, facilitate brand inquiries and platform communications, improve the platform and understand usage, maintain security and prevent fraud or misuse, comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
Athlete profiles are intended to be visible only through direct links shared by the athlete. Athistry does not operate a public searchable athlete directory. Your email address is not shown publicly on your profile.
We may share information with service providers that help us run the platform, to comply with law or legal process, to protect the rights safety and security of Athistry our users or others, in connection with a merger acquisition financing or sale of assets, or with your direction or consent. Current service providers include Supabase for database and backend services, Resend for email delivery, and Vercel for hosting and infrastructure.
We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, improve functionality, analyze usage, and support security.
We may send you service-related emails, security alerts, inquiry notifications, and updates about the platform.
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
You may update certain profile information through your account. You may request account deletion by contacting privacy@athistry.com.
If you request deletion we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify your personal information subject to legal security fraud prevention backup and recordkeeping needs.
We use reasonable measures to protect personal information but no internet-based system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Athistry is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Athistry may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will post the updated version and revise the Effective Date.
